{"id":12805,"date":"2021-06-22T09:08:47","date_gmt":"2021-06-22T07:08:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sicer.it\/?p=6285"},"modified":"2026-05-08T12:02:01","modified_gmt":"2026-05-08T10:02:01","slug":"sicer-buys-the-ex-cerfrit-production-plant-in-spain","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sicer.it\/en\/sicer-buys-the-ex-cerfrit-production-plant-in-spain\/","title":{"rendered":"Sicer buys the Ex-CERFRIT production plant in Spain."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h6><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">The Sicer Group continues its development process with the purchase of an important production plant in the district of Castell\u00f3n, Spain.<\/span><\/h6>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Sicer on May 19, 2021 completed the acquisition process of the <strong>Ex CERFRIT<\/strong> <strong>production plant<\/strong> located in the heart of the Spanish ceramic district of <strong>Castell\u00f3n.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Sicer continues and strengthens its positioning in international markets, further consolidating its position in the Spanish district. Sicer currently operates with production plants located in the main world ceramic districts in Italy, Spain, Mexico, Indonesia and India.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Following the acquisition, the Sicer Group will have a new highly specialized <strong>production site<\/strong> of approximately <strong>9.000m2<\/strong> as well as laboratories and offices, all <strong>on an area of \u200b\u200bover 30.000m2<\/strong>. The plant has an important frit production department with a <strong>production capacity of over 40,000 tons \/ year<\/strong>, in addition to the possibility of producing latest generation glazes and grits.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">The new plant will allow Sicer to increase its business in terms of quantity and variety of products produced in one of the most important ceramic districts in the world.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Gianfranco Padovani e Giuliano Ferrari,<\/strong><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Shareholders and Directors, comment: <\/span><em><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">\u201cWe are particularly pleased with this acquisition.
