Through internationally recognized standards, the company demonstrates the compliance of its management systems in the areas of quality, environment and ESG, ensuring high levels of reliability and transparency for customers and stakeholders.
ISO certifications – TÜV
Always attentive to the increasing quality and regulatory requirements of the international market, Sicer continuously invests in improving its business processes. The internal HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) department collects, manages and disseminates technical and regulatory standards, ensuring support and safety across all production activities.
ISO 9001 certification and ISO 14001 certification
Sicer S.p.A. has obtained certification for its Quality Management System in accordance with UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 and certification for its Environmental Management System in accordance with UNI EN ISO 14001:2015, both issued by TÜV Italia Srl.
Since 2019, Sicer Indonesia’s quality management system has also been certified according to UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 by TÜV, confirming the adoption of consistent standards at an international level.
ESG certification – EcoVadis rating
Sicer Italy has maintained its ESG rating issued by EcoVadis for several years. EcoVadis is an independent international organization specializing in the assessment of corporate performance in environmental, social and ethical areas.
The evaluation analyzes the policies adopted, actions implemented and results achieved in areas such as environment, human rights, working conditions, ethics and responsible procurement, providing an objective verification of compliance with ESG standards.
Maintaining this rating over time represents for Sicer a tool for continuous monitoring and international benchmarking, supporting transparency and reliability towards customers and partners.
Sicer Italy and the Responsible Care® program
Sicer Italy participates in the Responsible Care® program, the voluntary initiative of the chemical industry promoted in Italy by Federchimica and at the European level by Cefic (European Chemical Industry Council). The program involves over 10,000 chemical companies in more than 60 countries and aims to continuously improve performance in terms of safety, environmental protection and social responsibility.
Through Responsible Care®, Sicer integrates principles of safety, sustainability and transparency into its corporate strategies and production processes, promoting responsible development throughout the entire product life cycle. Participation in the program requires compliance with specific Guiding Principles, including:
- protection of health, safety and the environment throughout the entire product life cycle;
- adoption of responsible practices towards employees, customers, suppliers and local communities;
- transparent dialogue with stakeholders and the promotion of trust in the chemical industry;
- promotion of a culture of sustainability and corporate responsibility;
- active collaboration with institutions, associations and the research community.
