At Sicer, sustainability is an integral part of the research and production of materials for ceramic surfaces.
We work to reduce the environmental impact of processes, improve energy efficiency and develop low-emission solutions, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Our approach integrates environmental, social and governance principles, with measurable objectives and reporting through our Sustainability Report.
Environmental responsibility in production processes
Sicer has strengthened its Governance by embracing Sustainability principles and ensuring transparency towards its Stakeholders. This approach is directly reflected in the management of production processes, which are planned with careful consideration of their environmental and social impact.
The company continuously invests in technologies aimed at energy efficiency and environmental impact reduction, while promoting responsible behavior within the workplace. Sicer’s Technology Lab focuses on the development of products with the highest technical and aesthetic quality, while also being eco-sustainable, such as the exclusive range of “.LE – LOW EMISSION” digital inks and the WATER BASED glue series.
The Sicer production plant in Torriana (RN, Italy), located in the Marecchia Valley, operates in compliance with the Integrated Environmental Authorization issued by the Emilia-Romagna Region, which provides for strict controls on emissions and noise parameters.
At the Torriana facility, process digitalization through MES platforms and Industry 4.0 monitoring systems enables real-time control of operational performance, contributing to improved efficiency, safety and overall sustainability of the production site.
Social responsibility and safety
Protecting the health and safety of our employees is our responsibility. Well-being, professional growth and the quality of the working environment are achieved through training programs, monitoring systems and continuous investment.
Sicer has adopted an integrated quality and environmental management system, promoting a corporate culture based on a risk-based thinking approach.
