Founded in 1993 and strengthened in 2001 with the acquisition of the historic ceramic materials manufacturer in Torriana (RN, Italy), Sicer immediately set its goal of becoming a global reference partner for both the industrial and artistic ceramic sectors.
Over the years, the company’s growth has been driven by the acquisition and integration of production sites and commercial operations across the main ceramic districts worldwide, progressively consolidating the group’s global presence.
In 2019, Sicer further expanded internationally by entering the Indian market through the acquisition of a majority stake in SOL-INKS, an Indian digital inks manufacturer. With the establishment of Sicer India, the company became a key player in this strategic market as well.
More recently, in 2023, the Group strengthened its production capacity with the opening of a new plant in the United States, reinforcing its direct presence in the North American market.
Over the past decade, the entry of investment funds has brought strategic expertise and resources, enabling the Sicer Group to accelerate its development path and support new international growth projects.
Today, Sicer is an industrial group operating in the world’s main ceramic markets, with production sites, commercial offices and technical teams working alongside ceramic surface manufacturers.
